Audrey King

Audrey King PT, DPT

A Bay Area native, Audrey earned dual degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance, from Arizona State University (2006). After graduation she worked as a substitute high school teacher and completed her long-time aspiration of becoming a certified Pilates instructor. In the process she found herself assisting several clients who were managing complex medical conditions. This inspired Audrey to pursue an even greater understanding of the body’s systems during physical rehabilitation.

She earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona University’s Phoenix Biomedical Campus (2016). Audrey has experience in outpatient orthopedics, acute care and equine facilitated therapy. Additionally, she brings extensive training in dance, gymnastics and Pilates to the ABA team. She deeply appreciates ABA’s passion for patient centered care and holistic approach to treatment through osteopathic manual therapy. Audrey enjoys working with patients of all ages, as their partner and advocate for care, on their road to recovery.

In her spare time Audrey enjoys a myriad of activities with her husband, family, friends and three pets. She also works in event production and professional sports entertainment where she has had the opportunity to lead workshops in movement analysis and injury prevention for professional dance teams. A quote that she finds inspirational: “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
